  Steps

1.Open odin 
2.Click "PDA" or "AP" and add your downloaded recovery file (.tar)
3.Turn off phone 
4. Press 'Vol down' + 'Home' + 'Power' buttons
5. In "Warning" screen, release the buttons

6. Now press 'Vol up'   &  you are in downloading mode
7. Then Connect the USB cable  to Phone 
8. After that Click on  'Start' button in Odin
